at The Place, London on Saturday 27 May & 3 June 2023.
Our two day Jazz-Fest, presented by our good selves, BOP Jazz Theatre UK in partnership with One Dance UK, The Place and Jazz Theatre Arts UK. We are happy to share was a mighty success!! The goal to re-wire the visibility and viability of UK jazz dance theatre arts and artists has been connected.
A heartfelt and gracious THANK YOU to everyone involved in making this event so incredible. From our guest choreographers & dance companies, Emerging Artist & Performers, Jo Caleb Jazz Trio and Singer Chardel Rhoden. To our amazing Guest educators, guest panellists and speakers. And finally to our BOP Production Team and our partners for making the journey so real and truly an enjoyable experience … WE DID IT!
27 May - A Day of Jazz Practice and Participation An exciting layered day, sharing a super kaliedescope of Jazz Dance Masterclasses led by a stellar line-up of professional choreographers. The day also offered an inclusive and inviting space to Dance Teachers and Practitioners with our informed and inspiring CPD Seminar and high octane discussion and deliberate discussion platform Let’s Talk Jazz. The whole day at The Place from start to finish simply vibrated with a Jazz energy showing Jazz Arts is alive and kicking.

3 June - Up Close & Personal an evening not to forget!
From the stage to the audience there was something where everyone got to be part of something unique and special. We did it and could not be more proud of everyone and everything about the evening of artistry and entertainment. The feedback has been overwhelming and very encouraging.

A performance that will shine the spotlight on the creativity and artistry of our independent Jazz Theatre Companies and UK and internationally jazz dance artists. Jazz Arts - ReWIRED - A Jazz-packed day of Practice & Participation.
A jazz-packed day devoted to dance practitioners, teachers, dancers and jazz enthusiasts. With an exciting bundle of Jazz Masterclasses, led by a stellar line up of established Dance Theatre choreographers and practitioners. Alongside, Dance Teachers and practitioners can network, discover more knowledge, resources, and discuss jazz arts development at the informative CPD Jazz Seminar and ‘Let’s Talk Jazz’ Forum.
