This year we are also delighted to announce our two special guest Choreographers/Teachers
From the world of Musical Theatre - JASON PENNYCOOKE and from the world of Hip-Hop Theatre - SHAUN PAUL SMITH.
Our special guest Choreographers will each present a workshop, teaching their differing styles, techniques and a section of choreography that shares the essence of dance in Musical Theatre & Hip-Hop Theatre.

JASON PENNYCOOKE – Guest Choreographer/Performer – Musical Theatre/Jazz
Jason has been working in the Performing Arts industry for the past 22 years and imminently, he will be joining the original cast of 'Hamilton' playing the role of Thomas Jefferson/Marquis de Lafayette at The Victoria Palace from November 2017.
Jason was nominated for an Olivier for the role of Bobby Dupree in Memphis - The Musical at the Shaftesbury Theatre. He was also Olivier and What's On Stage nominated for the role of 'Jacob' in 'La Cage Aux Folles' at The Playhouse Theatre and has 3 affiliated "Best New Musical" Olivier nominations for shows he choreographed, Soul Sister, Porgy and Bess and The Big Life (also What's On Stage nominated).
More recently, Jason has choreographed a new production of Five Guys Named Moe at Edinburgh's Christmas for Udderbelly Ltd, and was last seen playing Benny Southstreet in Guys & Dolls at The Phoenix Theatre 2016, starring Rebel Wilson and can be seen on Gareth Malone’s hit BBC 2 reality show “The Naked Choir” as one of the lead mentors.
Jason reprised his role of 'Paul' in Kiss Me Kate for the BBC Proms 21 at The Royal Albert Hall, which was aired on Christmas Day on BBC 2, and can still be viewed on the BBC Proms website.

SHAUN PAUL SMITH - Guest Choreographer/Performer - Hip-Hop Theatre/Jazz

Shaun began his formal dance training at Harlequin Stage School in Worcester, then went on to full time professional training at London Studio Centre, London, graduating in July 2008.
Since then, Shaun has led a very impressive career as a performer, choreographer, teacher and mentor working internationally and on many of our stages and teaching in the top dance colleges and dance studios (Pineapple/Studio 68) in London and throughout the UK.
Shaun is a recognized and in demand dance teacher, who continues to share his vibrant and creative energy with his unique fusion of hip-hop, Jazz and theatre dance.
