BOP Music Production & Artist Development Portfolio
Paul initially embarked on his musical production journey through his own company Third Eye Music Productions (TEMP) operating alongside his business partners, Stepping Stone Studios. Under Paul’s direction they produced and developed a variety of artists at their state of the art recording and rehearsal studio complex in North London.
Their clients over a 3-year partnership included: Natalie Imbruglia, Julie Dexter, Claire Martin, Rachel McFarlane, Alison Jiar, Juliet Roberts, Ray Shell, Jason Rebello, Joy Rose, The Honeyz, Eternal, Future Sound of Music, Best Kept Secret, Street Angels Gospel Choir.
In order for Paul to pursue his own creative and musical goals he disbanded TEMP with its rostra of writers, lyricists and artists and in 1999 he formed a business and artistic partnership with Dollie as co- artistic director of BOP Productions Ltd.
Through the BOP Music wing of the company, Paul continued to expand his writing to theatre projects and compositions for dance theatre, allowing his musical knowledge and experience to encompass every aspect of the music industry. Combined with his studio/technical skills and breadth of musicianship the results are fresh, inspired and ambitious.
As a music producer he continues his connection with his jazz and commercial music roots to work in collaboration with song-writers, commercial/jazz artists and musicians.
BOP have a stream of young vocalist and performers on their list with whom both Paul and Dollie work with on their song-writing, vocal and recording skills, dance ability, image, style and performance attributes, therefore, offering a full programme to reach their potential creative and performing goals.
Paul is currently producing and co-writing with Su Elise Nash, formerly of Mis-Teeq, singer-songwriter Simon Brown and British jazz guitar phenomenon Joe Caleb.
Paul & Dollie are committed educationalist and over the last 20 years between them, have inspired, developed and educated many artists, many who now enjoy successful careers within the entertainment industry worldwide.
Paul continues to produce his own catalogue of jazz and R&B compositions, commercial song-writing material and Film/TV music, as well as developing in house projects for various artists & BOP Theatre at his music studio in South London.
